Gather & Grow Nature School is designed for childhood. Activities are aimed at children 3-7 but siblings are always welcome. However, you know your child best and we certainly will not stop a younger or older child from participating in a class!

No, parents stay with their child during our time together. While you do not have to be following your child around, we do believe that an appropriately involved parent is beneficial to your child’s learning. We are a parent-led co-op which inherently requires parent participation to some extent.
We combine outdoor education with academics, creative exploration, and practical life skills to provide a well rounded enrichment experience. Our unique four learning pillars ensure children grow not only in knowledge, but also in confidence, curiosity, and independence. Just as importantly, we’ve built a welcoming community where families learn alongside one another, share their talents, and create lasting friendships.
While we welcome families of all faith backgrounds, we are a secular co-op.
Absolutely! This organization was created by a mom of an autistic child. We welcome all! However it is important to note that we do not have any specialized trained individuals assisting.
Of course they are! We have activities for the younger siblings to do while their older siblings learn. If an older sibling is joining us, they are welcome to participate as much as they wish.
Yes, a requirement to our co-op is for the parent to take on a volunteer role. That does not have to be teaching and could instead be set up, event planning, snack organizing, younger sibling activities, photography, etc. There is a role for everyone!
There is no volunteer requirement for Little Sprouts or Junior Naturalists.
If there is a spot open during the semester then it will go to the next family on the waitlist. Otherwise, please look out for our next semester!
This is surprisingly a less common occurrence than you’d imagine here in Florida. However, if it rains we will move under the covered pavilion. We are currently looking for a location that provides both outdoor and indoor facilities.
In order for our children to get the full experience we require an attendance policy. Aside from illness or a prior commitment we have a no show policy. If you miss three classes without any notice, we will have to have a conversation about giving your spot up to someone else.
if you feel like your child is not benefiting from our programs we will issue you a full refund.
We believe childhood is the perfect time to build a connection with the natural world. When children have the freedom to explore, ask questions, and get their hands dirty, they develop confidence and a deeper appreciation for the world around them. In a time when so much of life happens indoors and on screens, we hope to give children a place to slow down and discover nature firsthand. If we want our children to care for this Earth we must give them the opportunity to love it.
Yes! You can find us on the marketplace as Gather & Grow Nature School LLC.
The enrollment fee you see listed is per semester or session which runs in an 8-9 week course!
While Gather & Grow is a parent-led community, there are still many behind the scenes costs involved in creating a meaningful learning experience. The enrollment fee helps cover curriculum planning, shared classroom materials, supplies, special activities, administrative expenses, website and registration costs, and allows us to continue growing opportunities like field trips and community events.
Parent volunteers are what make our co-op so special, but the enrollment fee ensures we have the resources needed to provide a well organized, enriching program for every family throughout the semester.
